I’m an Australian product designer based in Lisbon with 3+ years building consumer crypto experiences on Solana. Most recently, I worked with Torque Protocol (during private beta) on token reward distribution flows and campaign-management tooling for DeFi teams in the Solana ecosystem.
Previously at Truffle, Metaplex Studios, and Holaplex, I focused on NF T collection management and NFT marketplace experiences.

Belle is one of the best blockchain product designers in the world with an expert level understanding of the Solana ecosystem and an ability to create intuitive interfaces for novel crypto mechanics and UX patterns. She's incredibly productive and can cover large surface areas quickly for new ideas, with a natural intuition for when it's important to gather input from stakeholders or customers, and when we know enough to move forward confidently with a solution.
I've seen nothing but admiration and respect from her technical collaborators and teammates generally, and I'm confident she could add value in almost any team environment given her adaptability, natural intelligence and "by any means necessary" approach to solving problems and shipping.

Belle's work was very impressive during our UX class. Her ability to connect the dots between all the UX methodology tools and create a simple and persuasive narrative was inspiring - in fact, I use some of her work as example to other students. Her craft, diligence and skills are beyond her years - can't wait to see what she does next. If you have a chance, work with her.

I worked with Belle at Holaplex where she did excellent design work. She has a talent for creating interfaces that were clean and intuitive. Belle thinks through problems well and delivers solid solutions.
She's reliable, communicates clearly, and easy to collaborate with. I look forward to an opportunity to work with her again.

I would highly recommend Belle as a UX Designer. She has a meticulous eye for detail and works very well with engineers. I appreciated her quick turnaround on feedback in her Figma designs, and appreciated her creating quick mockups from ideas discussed in brainstorming meetings. She holds strong opinions about UX and knows how to fight for including important features whether it's complex or small.
Belle and I worked on a small team of 4 engineers, 1 PM and she as the UX Designer. We built a no-code product from the 0 to 1 that focused on excellent user experience despite complex processes happening underneath the hood. Her focus on UX helped us build a product that was both easy to use and delightful.
I'd be super excited to work with Belle again in the future!
A Love Letter to Solana
I thrive on solving complex design problems and generally do some of my best work under pressure, so naturally, Web3 swept me off my feet. Before I started working in the space, though, I was an active participant in the NFT community on Solana starting back in August 2021, when NFTs were booming among a small but passionate group of creators and collectors. Ah, it almost feels nostalgic! A simpler time in crypto and the world, that's for sure.
There were a handful of creators on Solana back then who became great friends of mine, people I feel lucky to have met: talented artists and project founders or members. I supported as a buyer / collector before I ever considered the possibility of being able to work in the space as a designer.
Because of the organic entry and involvement I had in the Solana community early on, I saw firsthand how unintuitive it was for people to turn their artwork or images into NFTs so they could launch a drop. Technical barriers and poor user experiences stood in the way.
In just one year, more than 21 million NFTs were minted on Solana, yet many artists could not participate without hiring developers or relying on third parties like Magic Eden, often giving up a share of their proceeds. Seeing those problems from both sides, as a user and as a designer, solving them became my hyper-fixation, and the rest is history!
Like Web3 itself, my career has moved fast. That pace taught me the value of collaboration, communication, adaptability, and iterative design with a focus on shipping often. I have also learned to appreciate the chaos and imperfect nature of designing for emerging technology.
Working closely with engineers has become a highlight of being the sole designer in such lean and fast-moving environments. I enjoy learning how things work, and finding common ground with engineers who I collaborate with on the same thing, both approaching a problem from completely different angles.
